C2 SECURITY’S LEADERSHIP

::  JUSTIN GIBSON (Chief Operations Officer)

Justin heads C2 Security’s Leadership team and is a retired Army Combat Veteran with 12 years of active duty experience and 3 operational combat deployments (36 months). He has been awarded 8 Army Achievement Medals, 7 Army Commendation Medals and 1 Navy Unit Commendation Medal. During his career, Mr. Gibson was awarded Top Shot out of 250 candidates for expert marksmanship on the Glock 19, M4 Carbine and the M14 Enhanced Battle Rifle (EBR).

In his post-military career, Justin was hired as a lead instructor to train USASOC (United States Army Special Operations Command) on Small Unit Tactics and Unorthodox Shooting Tactics.

Mr. Gibson completed Executive protection training at Pacific West Academy in Los Angeles, California and specializes in close protection operations, tactical emergency casualty care, emergency vehicle operations and security management. Justin has completed training as an EMT-B. In addition, he holds a BA in Homeland Security/Emergency Crisis Management and is a licensed private investigator in the state of Georgia.

::  DAVID CAROTHERS (Chief Executive Officer)

David is a Founder and CEO of C2 Security Group dating back to 2017 with the intent to create a better working environment for the security professional based on a higher operational standard and pay rate to match.

While having been an administrative and logistics officer in the Army Reserve for 10 years (2011-2021), he developed a cohesive environment of experts with one principle in mind “Train them well enough so that they can leave, treat them well enough so that they don’t want to”.

David has a 4 year degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina with a minor in ROTC. Upon commissioning, Mr. Carothers began to develop the foundation of C2 Security standards. With the strong key points of teamwork and brotherhood, he was able to develop a team of strong minded individuals of over 50 agents across 5 states. David’s training and education from both the Military and Pacific West Academy have allowed him to develop his team of like-minded experts to enforce the ever-developing standard to meet industry needs.

Mr. Carothers is a licensed Private Detective in the state of Georgia and has a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from University South Carolina (Columbia). He spent 7+ years in the Army National Guard as an Infantry Battalion 1st Lieutenant and has been in the Contract Security sphere for 7+ years. David has in-depth training in De-Escalation, Executive Security & Tactical Medical (TECC) training from Pacific West Academy (California).
